NCORENCORE — Design. Build. Develop.
Stone treads cantilevered from a random rubble wall, with a planted court and black stone water bowl in the well beneath

Residential

Residence at Talap

Almost the entire house is one colour; the interest is carried by texture instead. A wall of random rubble runs the height of the stair, its stone treads cantilevered clear of it with only a slim brass rod for balustrade, and a planted court with a black stone water bowl sits in the well beneath. Rough plaster returns at the entrance, where a lit fissure is cut through the wall beside a fluted travertine basin. In the living rooms the language turns soft — curved bouclé seating floating on dark timber plinths, reeded glass set into arched openings — and the children's rooms take it further still, into a blush rainbow headboard against a wall of interlocking relief tiles.
